Everyone is talking about eBooks and how it might change our use of books, not to mention how it may change libraries. Teir are some very innovative and inventive eBook providers out there and I came across this one in my travels and thought it was worthy enough to share. If only to get you thinking of how we could all use eBooks in so many different ways!
Wheelers ePlatform could be a cost effective eBook solution for many schools and libraries
Any library with limited computer infrastructure can easily use this service and would own the eBooks bought from wheelers. It is a service which could be easily used by school libraries because all of their titles have a SCIS record when delivered with the order as they work directly with SCIS to ensure all their eBooks have SCIS records. Also because their ePlatform is web based, any libraries’ staff could change specific settings to suit their library such as loan parameters and reserves etc.
